This game is in 3rd person view (Lara style). You have to catch and punish all the little m-people before you cage them. The bad guys in this one is the s-people. You don NOT want to be whipped, so you'll have to avoid them.

thats nasty and disturbing on sooooooo many levels "shudder"

06 June 2003, 10:09 PM
Hehe, thanks I guess :)

Just playing around with skin tones. Perhaps I'll make it a bit more pale. I think the final texture will feature a lot of bruises and perhaps some nasty tatoos.
06 June 2003, 10:34 PM
hehe... great..

I can see you are doing a boyfriend for Max's chick in the spanking room :airguitar (misinterpritation of smiley pun intended)

yup.. old lonley guys from Valby... it just gets too tempting.

The first polyWIP :o) Got a little time now to finish the bastard.

Wuhuu, theres still alot of polys left for all the details :bounce:

I'll post a shot of the wireframe, when I have finished the anatomy.I haven't really optimized or prepared it for deformations yet. :wip:

06 June 2003, 06:43 PM
Hehe, she definitely needs some punishing, standing like that. :wip:

Hehe. I hope it will be even more scary in 3D

06 June 2003, 09:01 PM
Looks just like the concept.:bounce:. Looking good man!

almost looks like the guy who walked infront of me while sitting on the beach the other day, who was wearing speedos! ewww!

06 June 2003, 04:12 PM
Thanks :)

Sooo, yet another update:

(sorry about the little thingy :hmm: it will be :wip: back in :surprised )

No smoothing groups yet, so the boots might look a bit crappy. I guess it's about time to start modellering the leatherbits now - and an ear... (Of course with 4500 polys to play with, the trousers will be modelled. Just did it temporary like this to have som proportions to work from)

hehe looking nice, ohh.. maybe just nasty, like to see the final :bounce:

Maybe give him some very huge and heavy spanking tools, could be fun

06 June 2003, 11:58 AM
This is going to be naaasty :drumrock:

I'm surprised every time I make lowpoly stuff of how many polygons the extra gadgets consists of... almost 1000 babies extra since the last update :surprised

Still some more leatherwork og som eyesockets/eyes + the ear. Perhaps even nipples...

@Martin Andersen:
Thnx  I still have to figure out which weapons to give him. the most kewl one would be a chainsaw, but that's not very SM...

Martin Andersen
06 June 2003, 01:07 PM
hehe... maybe Chain whip'er if sutch a thing exists

06 June 2003, 01:21 PM
Love your concept Frakke :wip:

if u can afford some nipples, dont forget the piercings... one doesnt go without the other on such a character.

Well done!

06 June 2003, 05:08 PM
yes, well done, and by well done I mean I have to remove my eyes from thier sockets and burn them. burn baby burn...

06 June 2003, 09:42 PM
A small update:

Since last update:
- Nipples + Piercing
- Leather straps
- Face behind mask
- G-String gone further in
- Some minor adjustments to the geometry.
- Ear between straps.

To do (modelling):
- Metal plates on boots
- Whip with one massive chain (wouldn't animato more than one  )
- A bit of optimizing... if needed.

@Martin Andersen:
Great idea ;)

Thnx for the idea.

Hehe, the texture will hopefully actually make you remove them...

Martin Andersen
06 June 2003, 10:32 PM
maybee give him some whip scars on his back in the texture :P

06 June 2003, 10:49 PM
@Martin Andersen:
There will be lots of nasty body hair, scars, bruises and perhaps some ugly tatoos like "MOM" and picture of an anchor beneath (suggested else where).

Hehe, I've got to pull out some polys in various places. I misread the challenge description and thought the limit was 4500 polys  Oh well, it shouldn't be that difficult to tweak at least 100 polys ekstra, so I don't think I'm in trouble anywayz.

06 June 2003, 11:08 PM
Hmmm :hmm: , not so sure about the scars... at the ends of the day he's the Punisher...not the Punished..

06 June 2003, 10:21 PM
Oh, but he has had some ruff training in the early days, back when he was the punished. Now it's time for revenge.

A minor update:

- Adjusted the G-String further in and up.
- Adjustet the size of the eyes.
- His weapon - a stick with a chain attached to it. Raw and primitive
- Metal plates on the shoes.

Doing and todo:
Adjusting the model, so that it deforms ok. A bit of optimizing.
... UV's, texture, bones and a little bit of animation just4fun.

06 June 2003, 06:35 AM
Cool  Looks good mate, nice and original :buttrock:

Will you be converting this to Quake 3 / Unreal 2K3 by any chance? I think the community would like this one ;)

06 June 2003, 03:23 PM
damm, wish I could texture my character as good as yours :(. He's looking very punishable ;). Reminds me more of the character in Thrill Kill for ps1.

06 June 2003, 02:41 PM
There's no texture on yet. Just colored with light.

Thnx. I don't know yet. It could be fun to see ones model ingame though, running around with some nasty weapons.

Yet another update, this time with wires. I have tried to optimize the model and got a few extra polygons to smooth out edges where I thought necessary. Also added some bulge to the edges near the straps, so that he would look more fat, and moved the head a bit up and forward. The butt has also gained som polygon weight.

I have tried to prepare it for deformation, but haven't any real experience with that though, so comments on the geometry would be really great.

hes fat....and awesome
great work

couldnt help u with the deformation though - sry!

07 July 2003, 01:47 AM
@Chris Antonelle:
Thnx. No matter, it just came down to a little trial and a lot of error. Learned a bit though

UV'en is laid out, geometry adjusted to deform nicely, the skinn is almost done. The color tone in the light areas will be more skin-colored and not so... purple! Bumpmaps and specular maps coming. The hair in the arse will be less black (naaasty).
The pink areas has yet to be textured...

Mess some more with the skin and bruises. Old battered leather, blood on the metal on the shoes etc..

And... riggin, skinning and a walkcycle with some nasty secondary motion in the stomach etc. :wip:

07 July 2003, 02:41 AM
I just looked at 8mm and that guy makes me think of Machine. Hes a big scary guy with a goofy face under the mask. great job though.

07 July 2003, 04:02 PM
Hehe, this one looks like Crusty the Clown under the mask ;)

Adjusted the skin tone to something near final - I think... and made some more textures.

- small noise/variation in the skin.
- trousers more schrathed/worn and some blood on them.
- the area around the eyes needs some more work
- more hair :) the legs, stomac.
- bump og specular, riggin and walkcycle.

Just an 360'er (DivX 5.03)

360 turn character animation - deleted!

Added bump and specular and adjusted the textures alot more. Comments are very wellcome

07 July 2003, 05:18 PM
Added a walkcycle. Still wip...

Walkcycle01 anim (DivX 5.03) (

07 July 2003, 05:26 PM
wow thats fantastic,

although i think you'll regret making a weapon like that if your gonna use him in a big animation, chains as ive found are very hard to animate well. but good luck.

07 July 2003, 09:52 PM

Updated a lot of stuff. Mainly more color in the texture, and specular and bump maps.

Also updated the walkcycle (DivX 5.03) (

Thnx :) I think I'm only doing a walkcycle, perhaps a runcycle and even strike with weapon though.
Yep, the chain might be a bit of a challenge (but that's what this is all about ;) ). I'm very newbie at animating so I'm not sure if I actually can animate it believable though.

final submission:

Coments are still welcome.

Very talented... You can get jobs on stuff like that !!!!

07 July 2003, 08:08 AM
very nice, especially like the walk cycle, and hope that you get to animate the chain soon :).

Good luck with the job hunting, have you tryed deadline, they were looking recently, dont know if they still are but the add is still on their site.

07 July 2003, 09:14 AM
@Martin Andersen:
I certainly hope so.

Thnx. I sent an application to them this monday. I don't know if I get to animate the chain within the next 2 weeks as I'm doing another projekt (a wild demo for se2k), but I will give it a try as soon as I get the time :)
