Hey everyone... I'm a CG Generalist working in the Los Angeles area. I just updated my reel and posted it as a Flash player on my site here:

It's mostly work projects, plus a couple of personal projects. Any comments/critiques are welcome.

If anyone has trouble viewing it, let me know. I'm debating on whether I need a Quicktime version online, or if most people are cool with just this Flash version.

Hey man, very nice stuff! I love seeing live action 3d reels. My favorite stuff on your reel is the Metal gear solid talk show shot. It sits really nice.

Thanks for posting it...!

Hey Josh,

Very nice reel, I agree with Mike, I love seeing live-action reels and yours is no exception. I've seen a lot of your work on tv, on the internet and on some Stash dvd's, very good work.

Congratz on a great reel and keep up the good work.

Wow, excellent work man. I am studying animation right now...your work inspires us all. Do you mind me asking where you received your training?

Thank you... I took most of my CG courses at Gnomon in Hollywood. Where are you studying, or are you on your own?

I attended the Art Institute - San Diego for a few quarters before my loan was discontinued and I had to withdraw. I departed before I actually got to experience any software training there. The classes for the first year+ are all traditional art. I am now taking an animation course (that uses 3DS Max) at a local community college which isn't very demanding - so I guess the answer to your question is a combination of both - studying in class at and on my own. Before the fall semester began, I was following tutorials in Maya.
