I almost mist one hot interresting thread!!
Be sure to count me in.

I'm thinking of a fight between a good and a bad robot on top of a moving train containing a nuclear war head and heading strait into some big and important city.

Quick background, those robots were once part of some big secret agency program with the intention of creating the best fighting machines in the worl by taking a hundred robots with combat learnig abilities and puting them in a huge worl wide fighting tournement. But something unexpected happened, through combat, they developped not only distinctive styles, but also personnalities of their own!!

So here they are, the two best, the good and the bad, in the final conflict.

I'll be filling you in as often as i can and im looking foward into seeing all of your showdowns!

so without further ado...

This sounds very neat, can't wait to see it. :)

Nah, i'd say that the fight on top of the trucks in the matrix inspired more plus i love trains, heck if i can get our game compagnie running youll be seeing trains in every game!

has for the nuklear war head, i just took the tipycal saving the world with a countdown plus i intend to do a longer animation with the material and experience ill gain during this great challenge so a nuclear blast or an exploding train at full detail could result in an interresting thing to see.

oh and by the way, i've come up with a little supprise for the combat style that i hope will prove interresting.

and of course i have problems with my scanner, how typical.

so again, soon as i can, sketches and previews.

ill be posting the sketch of the train and the storybord this weak and ill probably have them model by the end of it(i must!)
im planning on trying to use cloth (if its ok) for the bad guy's cloth

Here is a quick design of the train i made (jesus is everything i do quick!?)

i hope ill find a way to have a cool shot of it since all the action will be focused on the fight but still.

So here you have your usual electromagnetic repulsing and stabilising devices located in front of the locomotive and at both ends of the wagons. The locomotive has a two wheel traction inspired on the cool missile launcher in star wars episode 2.

It goes really fast, really.

later ill bring you the storybord:D

Please accept my excuses for i am not used to keeping updates of my work for i am used to show only big steps or then end result hehehe.

I took a couple of pictures to feed those in need, it is not much but...

i have a small question though, you see, i want to do a simple toon shader since im not so good with texture and it would take me a considarable amount of time to do so, i was woindering if anybody could tell me how i can do a toon shader?

thanx and without further ado...

Nice Updates bi0Hazard!!! :D

I think you should concentrate on what the challenge is which is ANIMATION unless you already have everything planned the textures are not a priority, the animation is on though...

Keep Up the Good Work :D

 :buttrock:

I'm affraid to announce that i will retire from this challenge for there is a more important challenge i have to accomplish that will be taking most of my time and energy.

ill be posting a new thread about a game compagnie me and my brother are working on, alot has been done but the last year has been low in productivity.

The train is now back at 110% speed, hanging on will be hard but determination (and the booth chix at E3 too) will prevail!

see you around people and good luck!

Cobrax ill be contacting you soon...
