Ok my idea is to create animation and the models is not so important for me.
So i decide to create mechanical like characters.

I'm doing this in the different way that's moust because i'm don't want to spend too much time on doing beautifull concepts . Ofcourse I'll create some storyboard but in the same time i'm creating the Boss.

I'm just putting this pictures to show progress :)
Next time there will be storyboard...

Maybe i'm missing the point of this challenge but ... it's not important :) doing this just to proof my skills...

1 . Hero running , camera fallows him
2. character is entering some big room , camera from the top
3. camera closeup and moving from back to front of character
4. finish of camera form 4 , from the underground big hand is crusshing the surface
5. camera side view , M1(boss) is going out of the hole he made and splashes the character.
6. view from eyes of M1 (boss) moving up - standing,
Hero is not moving , the hit is very masive and hard.
7. Hero is trying to push M1 hand and have place to open the whit weapon from his hand
8. Quick turn and hit the hand of M1(boss) , M1 getting confused because of demaged hand , cheacking the hand
9. Hero jumps on the legs while confuse of the M1
10. Quick jump of the hero , camera under the M1 legs.

11. Hero jumps on the M1 , camera side
12. Character is charging all his power , camera side closeup
13. and crashes M1 head in to pieces
14. Hero is jumping out from the M1 , M1 is falling back dead , camera from the top (slomotion :) )
15.16 Hero is on the ground

17 ... hero is turnig the power on his chest from HI to LOW and we can see the powers are getting smaller..
THE END ... :)

Lot of details gonna change , but now I can see that 20 sec could be the problem for this story , but I think I can make it...

oh and the idea of whole fighting..

It will be a kind of game ,or more test for the new model of M1 named M2 who has a special powers or M2 is an upgrade , that we will find out at the end swiching his HI level to LOW.. :)
I want to play with animation where the small object influence the big one and have this look realistic...
Also it's a more animation then a story of powerfull moves and hits to try animate very big powers in a fight.

thx... i know it's nothink special , very simple story but I'm moustly like to animate and doing this like animation studdy...

Especialy likes animte and simulate some dynamic motion of the character ...

hope to finish materials soon and start doing this what I like ... animate..

Hi Argail,
the char is great, simple but with personality (if robots do have one:)) enyway the storyboard looks nice as well so ill keep an eye on your progress.

this is first test of animationg the M1 model
there is lot of mestakes (like to easy left hand )
but gives the character...

its MPG about 500 kb..


looking to my story I didn't think tha standing up is impossible with hand on the ground :) so I have to change story a little..

Very nice looking character and the animation is looking really cool!:eek: And i was wondering what kind of environement are they going to be in? From the animation it almost looks like a virtual reality training program or something... I cant wait to see more.:thumbsup: keep it up!

There are lot of wrong camera sets but first I need to complet whole animation and camera will be reset later..
Also animation is first run and I'll corect this at the end of time . Enviroment will be done later too..

It's looking very good, the only thing which bugs me is when he prepares for his final jump it looks like he loses all his momentum. Maybe you could rock his body forward as he's crouching?

I agree with Kricket, I think his run is great but that is a big jump and it looks like his hands and legs would build up a lot more in preparation before making it. Maybe if you made him duck a bit and raise his arms before that jump. Looks good though.:thumbsup:

I have changed little :) scenario . The scene 7 and 8 is too long for this 20 secound movie...
This is still not right offline , U can say that's just the material to mont ...


and the movie clip mpg 1,5 MB


... and ofcourse the background and other stuff is jus template .. but i'll remake those if there will be time...

Hello Argail, it's looking very good so far, just a few things that might make it look even better.

First of all I think that after he have jumped and run to his position he should stop a bit softer, maybe make him slide a little at the end..because right now it almost looks like he smash into a wall ;) heh, well not really...but some sliding there would be nice to see.

Also when that big fellah is smashing down his fist on the dude, I would like to see some more power in the hit, maybe just a little bit faster, not sure about this one tho...

And for last thing, when he grabs him and throws him into the wall some more power could be given here too. Maybe take his arm a bit more behind him and swing him into the wall.

Holly cow! thats a lot of work you have there Argail, well done

just a couple of things to add to Veqtue's points, perhaps the camera could start panning a few frames later after the first fall of the little robot, its keeping him out of frame for a while. the drebris after the bad guy comes from under the floor dont seem to have enough weight, specially the one that hits his head, is feeling a bit too light.

I am loving your work here Argail. Great models and a really simple environment. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Wow! That's a huge guy! That's not FAIR! ;) But looks great anyway.

I just have trouble playing the movie with 24/30 fps. The divx is lagging and my computer is not the slowest one.

Is it possible that I need to update the divx codec or what?

yo Argail, things are looking sweet thus far.
Couple of things, it'd be pretty cool if you had the camera behind the shoulder like on your earlier test.

It would be pretty cool to have the little robot kaking his pants and really struggling when he gets pinned.

all I can say that i promise to fix all thinks , i just wan to concentrate on having this animation 20 sec not more , and in this case it's gonna be hard.... now I have 300 frames :( ehh..

You could make the gap between the little guy getting up and him jumping onto the big guy shorter in my opinion. Thereis about 4 seconds there where not an awful lot is happening (that I can see?!) that you could use for more action. Just a thought.

I'll work it up after challeng and add some sound...
