View Full Version : Cat rigging problem

I'm new here and new in cg. I'm trying to do my first cat model, and have a problem with paint skin weights tool. I've made quiet good looking model, attached skieleton to mesh, but one joint dont hmm... influence on mesh. I mean bone in back leg of this cat. Paint weights tool dont see this bone (It' should in list of all bones that can be weight). I didnt find any help searching cgtalk forum. What can I do to fix it?

Try using the 'Add Influence' by going to Skin > Edit Smooth Skin > Add Influence Options, and uncheck the 'Use geometry' tick box.

This post is calling for help :( I need it desperately. I have to finish my project of cat as soon as possible, but I cant do rigging of this cat. If someone on this forum knows how rig quadruped, i will be grateful for help.
