06 June 2003, 08:49 PM
thank you gamoron

a wip:

06 June 2003, 09:27 PM
Great start Fellipe! Keep it goin' !

Do you have a story or some details on the game?

06 June 2003, 11:37 PM
thank you art7sayan :B:

no story yet, perhaps he could be the main character on some sort of sci-fic rpg... something in the lines of the black isle tradition, but in a sci-fic world... that's why im keeping the "aged" look on the drawings...

update: corrected shin and elbows (ill tweak here and there as i render):

06 June 2003, 06:51 AM
Hey there,

based on your sketching I can tell you are a very good artist! Your line quality flows which many artists dont do. With that said, was wondering if you had a website with more of your work? I have a feeling with 1 month to go that if you place enough time you will have a great piece here!

06 June 2003, 07:00 AM
Looking really good.
So what are your plans for the form around the eyes?

06 June 2003, 11:54 AM
WOAH! amazing style! ther is a master guys!:wavey: :applause:

06 June 2003, 01:21 PM
Holy crap! I see some crazy amounts of detail coming. I like it. Can you let me know about the geometry across the eyes. Is it a style thing you do often or just something specific for this character?

06 June 2003, 01:39 PM
thank you for the nice replies guys

i must say i started this one earlier because this month will be a bitch for me, lot's of things to do, so i rather work on this one now then wait for everything in my live to pass on by.

the geometry shape around his eyes is "the icony simble" if you want. works like a visor, but instead of following the heads shape, it draws right in front of his eyes like a board. virtual crap, you know. i had this idea earlier but i never could work it out properly.

sel: no site buddy, but i promiss one this year. :b:

once again, thanks a lot for the cheering, and cheers for you too. (you guys need a single beer icon over here := )

06 June 2003, 01:46 PM
yeah that's definately some really good style....look forward to see some updates:thumbsup:

06 June 2003, 10:12 PM
and heres the update schmu

edit: tweaked torso, rendered his head (need to fix eyes and chest)

06 June 2003, 11:49 PM
wooo great stuff as always fell.. suberb details and all!
keep them coming.. i hope you get the time to finish this without getting troubled with .. well.. life things.

06 June 2003, 03:19 AM
wow love your style

Good luck to you!

06 June 2003, 03:24 AM
I'm digging your rendering style. The pose is very body-builderish. Are you going to give him a weapon or anything?

06 June 2003, 05:49 PM
thank you guys... the pose actually sucks (too many flows that i cant correct now, and its just a boring pose), so im moving in to something more "active" (wildsheep, you asked for weapons so im thinking in adding some sort of "force field", more stylish then a gun and allows some cool patterns along with the compostition flow. avoids the cliché and gives a cool look)

heres some fast thumbs to give you guys an idea (perhaps ill include the background enviroment to give it a nice kick):

i need a story too, ill think of something later this night (most of you already did it, even before any drawings! im too lazy)

:B: cheers to all

06 June 2003, 04:02 AM

06 June 2003, 03:18 AM
I just love it my man!! :buttrock:

06 June 2003, 02:30 AM
that last pose is beautifull indeed, i wanna kiss your sketchbook fell!!

06 June 2003, 02:44 AM

06 June 2003, 04:12 PM
keeps getting better and better. curious though, what does that oval bar over his eyes represent? Any chance that we may see a color study soon?

06 June 2003, 04:23 PM
thnk you guys for the positive cheering, its inspiring.

eric: the thingy is some kind of projection visor. and i dont think you'll see a color study that fast, not this month at least.

im working as fast as an one-laged turtle, but im trying to keep up to date with the concept. here's some shading:

cheers folks

06 June 2003, 04:45 PM
Fantastic man. But I just have one problem which I doubt you can change now. His eyes seem a little small to me. Was this by choice?

06 June 2003, 06:27 PM
i guess it was. i tryed to change the eyes but ended the same way:

Edit: I'm editing the first post with the latest updates... better then scroll the whole thread, saves time to everyone. cheers

Rock solid work, brother. So fluid and organic. You win.

06 June 2003, 04:15 AM
man, I'm impressed.

06 June 2003, 11:17 AM
you just won my love.

i didnt expect a game character this gracefully art nouveau-an.

keep those little eyes, they're his personality. the pose imo is still too static, you can bend his torso more.

06 June 2003, 01:06 PM
DAMN COOL!!!... too...i want to know how to draw like uuuuuuu!!!!! Too cool!:buttrock:

07 July 2003, 12:07 AM
