View Full Version : Exploding Geometry!

I need to make a skeleton creature model explode for an animation, but am wondering if anyone has a decent method for going about doing this or possibly some resources I could look at. I want to attach broken pieces of the geometry to particles and procedurally do it, then possibly hand animate parts as well. I am using Maya 4.5 and my dynamics skills are a little weak, any insight into this problem would be helpful. Any questions, shoot.
