This is a short modelling project I gave myself. It is of a toy called a Nak-Nak, and it took me a total of around 40 mins to completely model, texture and render what you see here.

I hope you like it, and please give some C&C

I like the concept, its imaginative, illustrative and abstract at the same time. However I think you could take it much further than you have. Placing the character in a matching environment for example scootering down a cartoon hill being chased by a nak-nak styled dog and perhaps with a nak-nak type policeman shaking his fist in background.

It has all the fundamental qualities going for it, it just needs to tell a bit of a story (and have some improved lighting) to catch the readers attention.

A good start! :wip:

(btw: Retrieved from the event horizon of page 36 by an accidental mouse click :) )

I think I better make it clear that the idea is not mine, its an actual toy ( ), but I do like the ideas you've given.......I'll be sure to look into it.......

Thanx for the comment,

oh and the lighting is just a skylight in Max5 :) i'll look into that also
