Nice to see some stuff of you again!
Interesting scene. You know I'm not a pro about lighting but I'm also learning about other artists and there work here. So I studied your image and thougt the lighting of the creatures couldn't come from the firetorches from the left side because it wouldn't be so bright. You remember - I had the same issue on my "SAD DRAGON" and the fire. Cybr explained that fire doesn't illuminate the environment so much. So either I'm wrong or the creatures shouldn't be so much illuminated...someone tell me if I'm wrong so I learn from this, too.

Hello, VISEone! Nice to meet you again.
I can tell you only one thing about this "highly illumination" of the creatures. I've made it for composition.. =) Couse it's the first sight of the viewer, it must be. Creatures attacking and they are the first thing to see in picture.
And I agree, I've made it too bright.. I'll try to fix this out.

Continued a lil..

Another up. I've added some space to the image. Spreaded it to left and up directions. I think this is better for composition. And added some "perspective fog", 'couse the values of fortress was wrong. Now i think it's better.
And i still awaiting any c&c.. :hmm:

It looks better now - but I don't like the scratchy highlights - for my opinion they should be a little smoother - especially now when you add the foggy atmosphere.
Sorry - but it took me to your last update to realize that this was not a fence that follows the spineline of your creature:banghead:
anyway - it's developing to another nice pic!
