View Full Version : two different emitters into one blobby particle shape

I'm pretty sure I have done this before.. which is to have two different emitters creating one particle object so that the blobbies from the two emitters blend into one another.

Any ideas?

I think you can do it this way- select your particles. go to Window -> Relationship Editors -> Dynamic Relationships-> (go to emitters tab) then select your desired emitters.

Was that what you were looking for?

yup.. that does the trick!

now if I can just get it to work with the scene I've already setup...

Hmm doesn't quite work right with particles assigned to flow paths.. the other emitter does contribute particles but they don't flow down the path anymore... something the expressions I guess.

If you have two emitters you have to specify on every expression you make what emitter should follow what...

if (particleShape1.emitterId == 0) {
rgbPP = rand(<<0,0,0>>,<<1,1,1,>>
} else if (particleShape1.emitterId ==1) {
rgbPP = <<0,0,0>>
