Self Portrait:"The Eye": Hyperdetail

Draw your own eye, as faithfully as possible on the time allowed.

You have 5mn for your sketch. IF you go beyond the assigned time limit , you have to post WHATEVER you have done after the time has expired, along with the FINAL drawing.

Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
Only final pieces can be posted on the thread. They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
RESOLUTION : The image can have any aspect ratio up to 800 x 600
They can be done on any medium.
If you wish, you can add a brief text description about your piece.
Only original compositions. No "tributes" or plagiarizing, unless is it an integral part of the challenge.
You can post an entry at anytime for the topic presented on this thead BEFORE the voting thread for THE WEEK has been posted.
The artist also has to post total length of time it took and program used.
Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.
The topics will be picked at random from the list on the TOPICS thread >>LINK<< (
(The author will be given credit). So guys keep them coming

Not as hyperdetailed as I would have liked it to be but here's my 15mn Eye...

Edit: In the title the time limit is 20 minutes, but in the post it says 5. I'm not sure which is the actual time limit?

I guess it's meant to be 20min. First the title also said 5min which is pretty short. Looks like Roberto just forgot to chance the post itself

Painter IX.5 with a customized Chunky Oil Brush (my favourite brush for quick sketches)

I feel like I am really making progress, when I look at my first DSF entries from about a week ago. Daily practice rockz!:buttrock:

I made this with a pencil because i like pencils lol and yea my eye in a bout 20mins sorry for any blinding crappiness :P
And for bieng a bit late hope this still counts

My level is too low for hyper details or something so it's more like experiments. 20 min pencil, 5 minute ps makeup

20 minutes, photoshop. First I was trying to make it quite realistic, but in the last five minutes I suddenly decided to experiment and changed the whole sketch :)

I'm afraid it didn't become a self-portrait, (though coincidentally I do have brown eyes and a quite thin pair of eyebrows), and it took longer than 20 minutes too, I tried to follow this tutorial quite closely:
