How about a Hellgirl? 3 hours in Painter, I'm slow :( But I'm hoping that by doing these daily sketches regularly I'll improve.

40 minutes PS.......reference from the scene in the first movie.

Great idea! But the implementation has got a lot of issues...
1. Black eyes make the character look like a dead body.
2. No need to waste time doing everything THAT smooth - it looks... dull and have nothing to do with photographic picture.
3. Skull structure and it's perspective are wrong.
4. Teeth are red.
5. The nature of lightning on the head and on the body differ.
6. Eyelids are really massive.
Ok, I stop here. Because I myself draw really bad(, oh, and my language is like that too

Thank you for your input, chintoi.

I don't even think the idea is that great though,
see :P

And the execution of the idea was bad, but no worries. Participating in the DSF regularly sounds like good practice to me, and with the help from others it's a good means of improving my art.

heres my contribution,2 and a half hours done in cs3.
*ps:i have made changes on the shoulder base on the feedback given by jpedro, thanks for the comments:)

07 July 2008, 11:24 PM
cool dynamic pose michael.

i think on his right side, the pectoralis and the way it connects to the shoulder and then the transition from shoulder to the upper arm look a bit off. it works much better on the "gun side", where shoulder anatomy is rendered really well.

still cool picture, and love the rimlights!

07 July 2008, 12:19 AM
hi jpedro- thanks alot for the comment,i might rework alil bit on the part which u have mentioned, thanks again:)

07 July 2008, 02:40 AM

07 July 2008, 05:01 AM
htdog, it is too dark. Or my display plays a trick.

07 July 2008, 06:21 AM
Try the new link. I brought up the brightness and contrast. I have a new display and it is not calibrated, so it may be brighter to me. But overall, I wanted the peice to be dark.
