View Full Version : Rigging a cloaked character

I'm currently working on rigging a character who wears a cloak that covers much of his upper body including his arms.
I'm wondering if I could get some advice/tips on how I'd set up a rig for a character like this. Would soft body dynamics be an option? Or would I be better off with a bone setup of some sort?
The main problem I'm thinking I'll have with this character is getting the cloak to move with his arms as he lifts them and such.
Any help with this or with rigging in general would be great! Thanks!

Soft Bodies wont be an option because right now they cant detect colisions on deformed meshes, maybe with the new revision they have this fixed (i hope).
Try to get it with Bones and MorhpTargets to correct some stuff.
