I am working on my student demo reel and would love some advice on this piece. It is an animation of a wave. I like the way the animation itself is behaving, but I would gladly accept critique on that as well. My current concern is with the particles themselves. They are facing particles emitted from multiple SuperSprays ( did I mention I am using Max 2008). Mapping these particles is causing more trouble than I had anticipated. I am using a particle age for the diffuse and for the opacity. The opacity channel uses gradients to get rid of the corners and at the moment procedural noise maps to add texture. It doesn't feel like foam to me however. Any advice would be appreciated.
