View Full Version : sprite based smoke particles luks Flat in stereo?

Hi guys, I m trying to render out a smoke with stereo cameras since sprites facing angle is constrained towards the camera.So i wanna know tht is it advisable to use Sprite particles for stereo projects coz when i checked my hw renders with Framecycler 3d it shows up kind off flat image aginst the Bg!
Is there any wrkaround for this to get proper depth for my smoke in this stereo project?
Plz help!

Well, the position of the sprites would still work out in a global 3D space, since they are not on a 2D plane. The sprites themselves do face the camera, so that would most likely give some weird effects, but it may be within the range of acceptable, depending upon the look you are going for.
