i got some problems on making some particle based bulletholes. what i basically do is when a projectile hits a wall it will emit a particle with some geometry instanced to it representing the bulletholes.the problem is, i cannont geht it oriented correctly accordingly to the surface. the default rotation values used by the instancer is the velocity of the particle, but in this case is <<0,0,0>> since this particle has no velocity;) so the geometry is sticking in the wall with this orientation.
how can i orient them the way the surface normals are, so that they sit flat on the geometry?
any help would be really cool!
