Does any one know how to extract blend shapes out of a head.
The problem I'm having is that I did the blend shapes for a character, and lost the original heads is there any way I can get the individual heads back?

you can just duplicate the head in all the individual poses...
make sure its not skinned first though.
I'm pretty sure there is a script on highend that does just that for each shape.

You can get the original target shapes by selecting the blendshape node. Then in the hypergraph click show input/output connections. This will show you all of your original target shapes. Select one and open the attribute editor. Under display options, uncheck "Intermediate Object" and make sure visibility is turned on. Now you can continue to tweak targets without destroying your blendshape.
