View Full Version : Escape Reality

('m a big gamer and I recently did some minor upgrades to my computer that basically opened up new software usage as well as next gen. games for me to play around with. This is where my inspiration was. It is great to use technology to once in a while escape reality to another "world" may it be virtual. I thought that it would be cool to somehow show this escape. A portal that leads to a "Command" Centre as a Hub to new worlds.

I wanted the viewer to feel a sense of space and a feeling of awe. I wanted a sci-fi look but not consisting of a cold color scheme, but rather the use of vibrant colours to show adventure and a sense of mystery beyond. I hope you enjoy it.

I'm just wondering if there is supposed to be a delay in the time you upload your work to the time it is displayed on the "View all Entries" page and in the forum pages? I read some of the posts on the FAQ and most ppl seem to think that removing quotation marks and special characters from the description should work... I doubt that is the case since the text input section is totally different from the coding or whatever to let you upload and display image.

My Image is 2560 x 1600 at 1.45 MB total less than 2 MB. Should I just wait till it is updated or should I start worrying that my entry will never be seen by the judges? lol. Please let me know.

Finally!!! :argh:

Patience is a virtue, but submitting to some circumstances that may lead to an outcome that goes against your virtue is not good.

Basically what I'm saying is -- Strange that no Admin or technical personel even replied to my email and my posts given the whole way that the judges judge the entries is through the forums... oh well. lol
