View Full Version : Maya nurbs uv tweaking (eg remap or smear nodes on filetextures uv)

Im trying to remap the uv values of a filetexture on a nurbssurface.
The method I have tried to use to normalize the uv's is to put a remapping node between the place2dtexture.outUV and fileNode.uvCoord (mapping the position of each span calculated by the curvelength between them to the real normalized positions) this works perfectly for a checker-node but when I apply a filetexture maya seems to ignore the fileNodes uvCoord. I have tried to add different nodes to the filetexture.uvCoord but nothing seems to change the uv.

So question is have anyone successfully added a remap or smearnode to tweak uv's of a filetexture? And how did you do this?
