ZBrush Demo Night: Character Creation from Concept to Execution

DC_SIGGRAPH invites you to join us for a night of "character modeling goodness", as local character artist Akin Bilgic goes over his character modeling workflow behind the characters he shared with us at Demo Reel Night last month.

He will go over the underlying concepts that go into creating great 3D characters from scratch, and the tools that ZBrush offers to help bring your concept into reality. He'll discuss planning your character's 'character' ; the importance of concept art and reference to help solidify your vision; planning your topology and method of execution; and finally the tools for sculpting a high resolution character model in ZBrush.

And as a special bonus, we will be raffling off a free full copy of ZBrush 3.1 for a lucky someone in the audience!
So mark your calendars and invite your friends for this great evening presented by DC_SIGGRAPH.

Where: BAE Systems, 8201 Greensboro Drive, McLean, VA 22102

When: Wednesday, May 14 from 7pm to 9pm
