( image is modeld in 3d studio max 9 (renderd with vray), and alot of post work in photoshop cs. I tried too make a 2d pen drawing an 3d image. Anyway, I hope that you like it. Please give me any critisism you like.

wow, I liked the ideea
This image doesn't presents so deeply your intention, so I would say, Work ! for another days, weeks and create really stuning. Really the ideea worths it :)

Anyone knows if you can submit a second image with the same concept?

Very cool idea. I like the outlined white machine against the colorful bands. I think if you play more with a depth of field you will really make this piece pop out much more. Try having more of the ribbons come sweeping by the camera to give a nice foreground element and lead the viewers eyes back to the center. Keep up the good work! :cool:

Sleeky and j0hny are right.! have the action needed for a good design and now you need to put it into the proper space. Your elements that spreads from the center need to be placed in more spatial environment, because they themselves are spacial (at least most of them excluding those standing on the background).
Do not waste the good composition. You can try to make some shade of the "spin-drill" thing that stands in the upper side, and thus to change its interaction with the bground. Ok, good luck.
