View Full Version : deflector doesn´t effect particles locked on surface

Hey there,

I have a problem with some particles.
I have an animated shape, which moves through a deflector. I emitted particles on the shape, which are locked on it.
Now I want to start a new event, as the particles move through the deflector. But they don´t change their state.

Is there a solution for this?

It should work just fine. Do you have a Collision Test n then send the particles to a new event? mayb would be easier if u post a screen capture of yo Flow.

The only thing I can think (from yo pic, it looks like the emiter is a bullet), the animation may b too fast goin through the deflector. have u tried to change the Integration Step on yo Flow. For something like 1/4 of a frame.

Leave the particles locked on and spawn new ones, from the ones that are locked on, at the collision event.
