That's pretty tight. Is that that cel shading stuff? Where it looks 2d?

What prog and method do you use for chars like that?

if he knew better he would have used maya. :p

jokes aside , i like it so far martin , if you work on it a little bit more it can be a mascot character for something.

Damn nice work Ambient. Keep those Mirai vids coming. I may yet one day make a leap of faith into Mirai someday. :) Inspiring work man, very stylized. Any projects on the horizon? Or are you just fooling around?

I hope I stick with this 3d stuff. I don't know how you guys even begin to model these high detail models, but I hope I can learn.

Hangin here is like christmas everyday. Hehe.

Cool, thanx, you guys sure are nice around here. I used to go to if ya know of it, and they were all jerks.

While I'm here, you wouldn't happen to know the location of more vid tutorials would you? Are there any more whose locations rest in the colossal capacity of your mind. Hmm? You can tell me some anytime you're free.

O my gosh, you use boxes? I don't know much about lowpoly, but more than I do about high poly, and I totally understand box modelling.

The diff I see is that these highpoly models are using squares in the objects instead of polys, so if I were to do it in MAX, which would I use? I've used Editable Mesh, Editable Patch, and seen a couple others in there. Which one uses squares like u are doing?

wow nice work but noted don't leave around access to the rest of your directory's or anything or else people might find this
which if you can't tell is your desktop but weird how you can see a file being transferd looks like a movie file which is kind of makes me think is the program your using from sources of this nature?

PS. noted it would be better to send this type of files in split rar files so you can just redownload a certain rar instead of the whole thing if you get a crc error

01 January 2002, 07:16 PM
:) heh im aware that rar files are better but icq can resume, so its ok.
