While I thoroughly enjoyed Sin City and thought the style was a breath of fresh air...does this mean all Frank Miller comic adaptions have to have that look?
I know he has a distinct drawign style and is a master of using balacks and negative space but I have to admit my first impression from this teaser was, "oh, this again...".
The wire work looked a little dodgy too.

Sigh. Why'd he have to go and crap all over The Spirit, and turn it into Sin City 2? Eisner's estate ought to punch him in the neck.

Oh well. At least we still have the original comics.

I hadn't heard of The Spirit before I saw the trailer but the lame wire work completely takes away from the "coolness" of the character and he just becomes a crappy actor.

Yeah looks pretty lame - Think he should stick to his comics.

I thought this looked quite promising.

And I liked the imperfections in the wire work. I think it makes it look more dynamic and realistic.

I think ppl are being a bit to critical, wait for the movie or at least a more full length preview. I quite enjoy the style and hope more movies are made this way. I guess everytime a martial arts by jet lee of jackie chan movie comes out ppl say oh man not that again. You either like them or you don't!

I would say a movie with this style once every year and half is not over killing a style at all. Frank Miller in the movie industry to me is a breath of fresh air. 300 is in my top 5 favorite movies i have ever seen.

But that's just my opinion.

I like that The Spirit wears Chuck Taylors. :D

Aside from that I'll wait for a more finished trailer before passing judgement.
