View Full Version : PB 17" and Layout

05-12-2003, 02:48 PM
I have a 17" Powerbook with MotionBuidler 4.02 and the layouts are too big for the screen. I am at 1440x900 which is the highest I can go. Is there a way to make the layouts fit?

PS If this appears twice - sorry, I could not find my original post :hmm:

I'm using ver. 4.01 at an even lower resolution and when I start the program I get Layout Warning pop-ups that tell me the layouts are too large. After clicking OK the program starts and my layouts all fit on the screen.

yeah, i'm thinking i have a pretty decent res, but I have to ok 4 boxes to start prog too. that would be a nice fix for next release.

I upgraded to 4.03 last night and still no good. I don't get any layout error messages either :-(

Kaydara had some lower res layouts on their site at one time. Plus, once you setup the layout like you want, save out that layout setting, and it SHOULD use that everytime you open it

use of MotionBuilder and Nuance

Thanks twidup, I have started building my own now, it is a bit tedious as on the mac you can only resize from the bottom left and if that is off screen and the window is too tall to get it up, you have to change resolution to force everything small and then drag them all bigger again!

lol, yeah, I know...I am on an 18 LCD witha max res of 1280 * 1024, all of the built in layouts had several panels opened below the border, so I couldnt see them ;(

finally got it sorted out.
