Me, Lasse, and Daniel took a small meeting on saturday to try to find out what we wanted to make.
We came up with a funny little idea for a shortfilm.
We had a really unorginal idea about aliens attacking earth, but we decided to go in another direction.
So we decided to make a film how it would be when a human came to a Alien Planet instead.
Style : Toony
story in short :
Alien planet in the morning.
Little grey aliens, doing daily life things. (going to work, drinking at the cafe, walking the dog, etc etc.)
A spaceship comes flying down to their planet and lands in the middle of the street. The spaceship is marked (NASA Space Exploration)
The Aliens gather around the spaceship (not knowing what the strange thing is), a lot of them are really afraid.
The door to the spaceship opens and you can see the shape of a man (in spacesuit, big helmet, with black visor.)
Bright light behind him, with fogged light coming out of the spaceship. also add some mist.
He steps out of the spaceship, he walks slow just like the moonlanding. (he is acting like its low gravity)
can also hear him breathe.
(like darth vader. the idea is that the man is sort looks at him self like a hero, and he plays spaceman all the time)
There is a silent moment between the aliens and the man in the space suit,
they are staring at each other in a mix between curosity and fear.
The man in the space suit looks at his arm. He got a lcd screen there, and it says : "CO2 OK"
His visor (black glass) goes up after he has pushed a button on his arm.
(now that he has opened his visor, gravity is okey to him, he doesnt need to "play" space man any more,)
Inside you can see the face of a human. A real space hero!
The man raises his right arm up, and says "I come in peace", before he sneeses.
*A- a- a- ttssjoo*
(camera pulls back after each "A" until you get him and the start of the alien crowd in a shot. So you know that he sneeses bigtime)
It goes all quiet, and the Man sniffs.
One of the aliens says to the other : "saodhsanzlxnworhlszdn?"
(alien language, translated with text below : "what was that?")
the alien he was talking too drops dead a few seconds later, and so they keep falling like domino bricks.
Several shots of all the aliens that were doing daily life things
(except they are dead, with some funny expressions maybe.)
(camera from the side of the space man, he on one side of the frame, the dead alien crowd at the other)
the man standing there, dead aliens everywhere, all quiet
wind blows and a dustbowl goes past the man, he is looking around himself at the dead aliens, he is shocked.
The man : "damn, thats the 3rd time thats happend."
Closes his visor, starts breathing (darth vader kind), and jumps in slow motion back to his spaceship (like the moonlanding)
And off he goes to the next planet.
Storyboard will come.
