so im wondering, if i instance my skinned mesh in pflow i have a load of guys waving all at the same time is there away to offset each individual particle so they wave at different points in the timeframe? without just bringing in another different waving mesh...

This can be done with the new PointCache2 in current Max 9+. This is actually one of the samples they show in the point cache demo here (
