Nice theme. Looking foreward to this one.
I'm not sure what to do though, but I'm thinking of some toon alien visiting planet earth, and not understand what this strange specie called "humans" are doing.
I'm not planning to create a human though. I hope I can show the whole "alien meeting humans"-thing without actually showing the humans, but more our world. Let the alien try to figure out a device we use in our everyday life or something like that...
And since I'm going all cg I won't create the human both due to time restrictions and skills ;)
See ya :)
Oh, and good luck to all of you.

Okay, I have this initial idea and let me know what you think about it.
It's a stormy night. A kid sits in his room, playing a computer game.
The game is called Uplift Universe, and has a one-headed and one-eyed alien on the cover.
A lightning hits the house, and goes into the computer which dies. At the same time, someone knocks on his door. He opens and in the doorway stands the alien from the cover of the game.
Instead of being frightend, the kid laughs at the alien. It don't know what he laughs about, but the kid points at his head. He shows a magasine-cover where an alien has 2 heads. He shows another drawing of a alien with 3 heads, and points back at the aliens only head.
The Alien gets mad, and does sort of a head-sway and out pops 14 heads (15 in total, forming a pyramid with 5, 4, 3, 2 and one in each row - 5 rows total).
The kid drops his jaw in awe, and that's basically it :)
I'll think about it a bit, while I do some sketching and storyboarding so the story might alter a bit or even a lot, but let me know what you think anyways.

I think I'll stick with the alien at least, but the boy I'm very unsure of. Perhaps somewhat of "boy 2" but I'll keep sketching a bit.
