View Full Version : stabilising problem

Hi, I'm trying to stabilise a clip so I can remove the jutter created from hand holding the camera. The problem I'm having is when the camera moves up with the footage, the stabiliser just goes wherever it wants. I'm having a real nightmare with this and have tried thousands of different things. I really dont know how to use the stabiliser. If anyone could help me or giv me some tutorial links other than the ones that ship with c2 then it would be much appreciated.
I welcome your help with open arms. Thank you

Hi Mark,

Any tracking tool works properly in areas of high controls and recognisable patterns.

So look for a definate pattern you can track through out the shot.

You may want to apply a contrast filter to the image prior to tracking it which will enhance the egdes and patterns to track.

You will need to look in the manual about Fix, roaming and tolerance.

Hope this helps.
