Let's put new renders in this thread, to allow new users (and the rest of us)..to see first hand what the renderer now offers.. whaddayathink?.. Weggs?.. that ok? Can we make this one a sticky?
Test files would be good too.. but mayne we should not clutter this thread too much with that?..?

Good idea. Maybe Wegg could post some stuff from Andy's. The interior of the carrier would be a good example...some of those interiors seem like you could reach out and touch them.

Thought I would post a quick pic here.. (since I started this thread..lol).. Just a quick test using the simplegrass.mpj file generously provided by "Rush123". Created a quick grid in LW Modeler and Uv'ed it.. created a map for the density\placement of the "Hair" lit the scene..pretty much.
The coolest thing is the shaders that were used in the original hair file uses standard shaders just like those used on regular geometry.,, ie: grandients and Fresnel as well as the anisotropic shader.. really makes the grass look great..IMHO.
V3 features used: to keep the thread on topic :))
New GI reduction, Ramp shaders, new Voronoia, etc. Slight modification to the sand dunes using Bones.. to create the crevases in one of the pics.. gotta love Messiah's bones!
