View Full Version : opening unlimited rigs in complete

is there a way to open a rig made in maya unlimited, that uses the djrivet script, in maya complete. has something to do with the follicle node. i know you can't create hair in maya complete but i would think it could read a file with hair in it.

messiah was like that. someone with the pro version(like unlimited) could make a character with hair, another person could animate and render the hair in the workstation version(like complete). you just couldn't edit any of the hair stuff.

is this possible in maya?

No, its not possible. Once the character is open the follicles nodes more to the origin. You can try to geometry constraint the joints rather the the hair system.

use rivet only.. ! download that from highend3d
