Anyone know if there is a way to get around the "CNTR (Keypad)" shortcuts on a laptop?

Is their an alternate way of doing those shortcuts?

Hit NumLock...

Control "m" (the zero keypad ) will toggle from whatever quad viewport your cursor is in to fullscreen and back again.

I'm using a Dell laptop, it also worked on my old IBM and a Toshiba...

on the Dell I'm looking at, the superimposed number keys are:

zero "0" = m
456- = uiop
789* = 7890

try it again, have your quad view, hit the NumLk key (on this Dell it's the default, Fn NumLk activates ScrollLock

now put your cursor in one of the viewports and hit Control m

you should have that viewport full screen, hit it again for quad view

it won't work with the zero key on the number key line, it has to be the "m" key
