Hey hows it going? Already well impressed by the standard of work on here. Been a long time fan of the work on CG so thought this had to be my thread!
I'm working on a female Clericon character using a Vegetation artifact - with a more 'nature goddess' spin as opposed to a greengrocer. I wanna use the natural contrast against the rotting ancient machinery littering the futuristic landscapes.
Looking forward to the challenge!
I'm working on some basic poses and renders right now to play around with some silhouettes and costumes, etc.

Hey, wanted to update my image, although the more I look at it the more I realise she's got some mad vader qualities. have to sort that out, not exactly clericon right now...

Hi, been sketch crazy over the weekend after i find time to finally open my sketchbook and get stuck in!
heres where im at so far. pretty sure ive got my overall costume and look sorted, now just refining the pose - so difficult to get a biped character into a square space!
any thoughts, lemme know!

I really like the concepts a lot! It's very interesting that you chose to make her pregnant. Is there a backstory to this? Overall, you have some good designs going on here.

i like your first color comp, because it looks like the metal monsters are all around her, but definitely go with the pregnant version.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback - all really appreciated!
Bascically, im using the idea behind the egyptian princess scota or scotia after whom scotland was named (or so im told) and mixing that inspiration with a natural (vegetation) priestess. I thought the whole pregnancy thing would help with more of an 'earth mother' type approach...
gonna go digital from here on in, just trying to find a pose that fits all of her into a 1000 x 1000 canvas - not easy!!

Still plenty of work to be done till ive got the sketch ready, but I think i'll have that done by the end of the week so I can really get to work on it over the weekend...
any opnions, lemme know!?
I really like your line work- nice and bold and fluid. cool idea about the pregnant woman too.

As it was thoroughly disturbing at least one of my mates, I've dressed her in the overall costume i'm going with - although the pose is way too static so I'm going to play around with some more pose ideas!
Does anyone know if we have to show the WHOLE character...?
