Hey everyone I have been a lurker here on this forum for years. This is my first time posting. For my DWIII character I just wanted to make a tough looking Warlord. Here are some concepts I have been playing with. Good luck to everyone !

This is probably my favorite so far...

This was my first drawing I was thinking of a vampire guy that was more stealth looking.

Here's you average big guy with some armor I tried making the hand a little more interesting..

Here's another big guy with more modifications trying to keep the themes I liked from the first drawing.

I think you have them posted kinda in the order I'd rank them as my favorites. But they all rule.

first and second look nice. for the second i would sugest a sleaker sword that would work better with his stealth nature.

hey Akiraman, I like your sketches, you've done loads! Yeah, first one is great, I'd say. I love his right arm armor, it's really beetle like. Can't tell whats going on with the thighs though, what is the material? cloth or metal? Would love to see the forearm stuff repeated in the design on his shins.

Hey Guys thanks for all the kind replies!

Claudiu - Hey man your stuff is awesome thanks for posting. It's a good idea to make the sword sleaker but I don't know if will have enough time to make a new concept.

Nafe - Thanks man!. The upper thighs is supposed to be more of a cloth material, and the lower part is metal with a bone type of material fused on top.

Here is new concept I got a quite a lot of great feedback on what I should work on. I did a Warlord that is more about hand to hand combat. His artifact weapon is fire/lava. Oh by the way thats suppose to be smoke on top of his head and out his back. I drew a lot of inspiration from H.R. Giger. Anyways I hope you guys like it because he's the guy I will probably be making... :)

I like the direction you've taken and I especially like how the face looks. Something about the hands is bothering me, though. While they certainly look interesting, they don't seem to fit with the overall aesthetic—they have none of the shapes common to the rest, so they sort of stick out. Incorporating some of the design of rest of the body into the hands would tie it together a little better.

I did some new concepts over the weekend.. I wasn't so happy with the latest one. Here are my new concepts, they are kind of an evolution of the same concepts I have been doing. I will start modeling the last image. Thanks for all the critques!

OH SNAP! number 2 outta the new concepts... all the way! Though i think you could use for a little asymmetry.

I love the floating skulls in the armor idea of the 2nd. The shoulder pads of the 3rd look very MAD'ish :) You use painter for there? :P

This is all so voodoo, and I think your sketches are really moody. I can see your Giger influence and I think having repeating bone structure/armor would look amazing. The floating skulls on his shoulder pads are a nice touch and just add to overall horror. >:)

Hey guys thanks for all the comments here is where I am currently. Mainly getting all the proportions correct first then on to the high rez stuff :)
