I was going to reply to this before but it got lost somehow, sorry. I like big cats. Little cats not so much. But big cats are good. Especially black cats as they are harder to see on top off already beeing quiet. And a black tiger, I've never even heard of it before let alone see it. So this is really cool. And oh yeah, the girl is ok too. ;)

Good luck with your poly count.

maybe just maybe the headpiece on the cats head could be like the bracer on the legs of course with the same texture all the way covering the neck. and the glove or the bracer the girl wearing could be a tight one that show the hand gesture. but overall I like it. good luck is this invoker? what element is this girl?

Hi! I dig your concept :)
Tiger looks a bit too good-natured :)

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. She is an invoker - darkness/void - female, but probably not totally human, and of course a big cat. I was thinking something along the lines of the girl paralyzing her victims and the cat sucking out their souls; just need to think of a good way to demonstrate it. Thoughts? Also I thought modeling a hot chick and big cat would be fun! =)

And they will both look a lot meaner once they are modeled... this is just the calm before the storm! =) I always make my concepts sort of bright and clean... easier for me to work from.

Maybe do it the other way around? Have the big cat subdue the victim while while the girl drains them of their life. Then you could show the cat holding some huge creature of some sort, then the girl doing her thing. Just a thought.

so the big cat is the artifact? o__0 good work btw.

Made an update to the girl she seemed sort of bland. And I think I'm going to use innactpro's suggestion and have the tiger hold down the victim while she sucks their soul out... sounds nice and clean. =)

THANKS :D i like your ideas... they definitely make sense. the CG society logo will be engraved onto the shield, but the snakes might be poping out a bit more, with magic junk coming out of thier mouths... the only thing i'm concerned about is he uses light holy energy, so i cant use CG Society colors everywhere, the red and grey, because then my character would look evil or voidish...

Bringing the look of the tiger into the skirt as well as the cape gives a more consistent look, though she was looking fine before. Subtle changes can make a big difference. I wouldn't have thought of changing her mask, but now that I see your changes, she was all Phantom of the Opera, and now she is more superhero. The fact that she now has open toed shoes gives an attitude as though she feels she won't even chip a nail while destroying you. I like the boots, but open toed is cockier, in a fight anyway.

And I don't know about using my suggestion about the cat holding down the victim. My ideas usually aren't all that swell. Thanks for the confidence though.

Posting an update of my character. I've got the 3D model fleshed out but had some thoughts on the armor and wanted to put another concept together - also gave me an excuse to sketch some more... don't do it nearly often enough.

Other than the arm guard seems a bit bulky, I like it. Though I've pretty much been liking all you've done.
