This is my first Dominance War and also a newb in this site, well best wishes to everyone, Look forward to your works guys, so far i've seen a lot of promising work, hope I can compare myself to them. Well then;

Character Name : Vexious
Race : Shadow/ Iritus Caelestis
Class : Stalker
Artifact Weapon : Tail's Scythe

A little story behind my character, it's a little bit cheesy but please bear with it, I know what I'm going to draw but i'm taking my time to finish the drawing, thanks.

Earth was a very dark place, where everything was covered by shadows, it was a silent and scary place. God created creatures called Obscurum Gens, which means Tribe of Darkness. God told them to dwell within earth and do whatever they want with it. They wandered for million of years until they actually got tired of their existent, they had a very incomparable magical power, so their leader sealed every one last of them into a deep sleep.

God was dissapointed of their actions and created all other creatures as bible said, and they are actually forgotten forever.

But now, The big disaster came to every planets, the attacked has caused the seal to break, and awaken their existent once more, they are actually furious of what happened, except now they have many preys to destroys.

Shadow race called themself Iritus Caelestis, which means the God of Void. they only dwell inside the shadow area, because as soon as they touch the light they will get weaken and eventually lose their power after sometime. Although they are weak in the light, they are exceptionally strong in shadow.

edited : they can't use the abilities in the light, although they can still fight hand to hand combat, or slash enemy with the tails.

Iritus Caelestis Ability:

Shadow Taker : Ability to absorb enemy shadow slowly, every second the opponent would get older, and eventually die when they completely lost his/her shadow. The stronger the opponent the longer it takes.
in addition, since the enemy are metalic machines, the metal will rust and eventually the machine will stop working/moving.

Shadow Control : Ability to stop enemy movement by sticking an artifact weapon on enemy cast shadow.

Shadow walk : The transport/teleportation ability to move from one shadow to another.

Sounds pretty neat! Keep pushing out thumbnails and sketches; they can only help. Of those you posted, the big guy on the second sheet with the horns and the half cape is the one that really stood out to me the most.

a little update on my character since I think the character is too plain I added a little armor, I was going to add more, but I thought it might change to a walrord instead, and I dont want that. I was thinking to make the legs bigger, but again I dont want to give it a warlord look.
the CG society Logo placed on his chest. I'm not sure it's the right Logo yet but o well it is for now.
I might start coloring and start modelling hopefully by next week.

Its been awhile since I post my progress, here it goes, I've been busy dividing my time for my midterm and this. so I couldn't actually do much. Hope this will keep me up in a good track.

Low Poly + Normal Map Result after gone the trouble doing it for 3 hours. My inexperience of using Normal Map Made me waste so much time on doing it. Hopefully I have enough time and sanity to finish everything by saturday
