ok i think im heading in a new direction, seems alot of people are doing big guys with swords!!
so here is a little sketch i did of this guys head, im gonna think of a little back story to him, but basically he is part of a ancient religion.....well the first religion!!

ok here is a rough sketch up in the direction i want to go......i think!
he may look slightly evil, but his powers are holy and light! haven't really had time to some proper thinking yet, but i kinda have a back story roughed out in my mind, and what his weapon will be.
i want to be a bit original, but i dont know if i am, maybe you guy can throw some crits at it! when i give you the full story and proper sketch. the armour will probably change, i want to make it look lslightly futuristic with a hint of old design!
Rough sketch #1

here is an update!
back story -
The light bringer cometh! he has been a part of the oldest religion ever known, the first religion, a pure religion! It has no name, you are only known to be part of it from the branding of its emblem, with the swirling dragons and the sharp wings sprouting from them, that scars your skin.
they worship the GODS of gods! META GODS!! The light bringer as he is known, has been through many wars since the dawn of time for his beliefs and with the power that he has been given by the all mighty gods of the universe he will destroy all vile lifeforms that may endanger his realm!
ok on to his weapon and abilities. the mace that he carries contains the power of gods, (good gods, no demons). what ever he hits with it will have its/his or hers soul taken to be judged by his gods!!
but its main power is summoning! using it and his invoker abilities he can summon spirits/souls of any dead beasts or warriors that have ever lived with a pure soul to fight by his side.
ok sorry for the long back story, but what do you guys think?? he may look slightly evil but he is a good guy :)
Artifact: The mace of eternal light
Artifact power: summoning
wip concept again!! looking for crits :)

Interesting concept you got there!
Just a noob comment, but: Maybe the thing that makes me (and maybe somebody else?) got confused about the evil-good dark-light stuff is the existence of design elements that register in my brain as dark/evil, like skeleton, dark colors, bones, etc. Maybe you can also try exploring how the guy is going to look like if he wears 'light' costume in contrast with his 'dark' body. Despite looking like skeleton, I found his face on post #9 to be 'good' instead. He's looking like he got a lot of patience.
Keep up the good work!
