Title: CHICAGO, the calling
Name: Loïc e338 Zimmermann
Software: Maya, mental ray, Painter, Photoshop, ZBrush
This picture was done for a serie I'm working on. One should recognize the character although he lacks some props and his good old Logo. This is done on purpose.
It's alway very hard for me to choose in which gallery I have to post, since this work is based on a lot of 3D and since the post work in Photoshop and Painter is huge too.
I start experimenting with Painter, which is quite a comeback for me; haven't used it since I discovered PainterClassic when I bought my first Wacom... Fun. 'kinda like it. It reminds me the good old days when I was working with traditional stuff and no CtrlZ.
Hope you'll enjoy.

Sankri. Yeah, this is him. My last portrait of the batman was 3 or 4 years ago. It's a constant loop.
palimok. yup. Copying superheroes is a piece of cake and doesn't make sense to me. I prefer using them as a starting point. Thanks man.
renagadeWang; Z3pho, thx.
Foxito. Hi good sir. hehe. you know me man. All my characters turn old/fat/weird...
That's the way it is.
pierloh. You got me here man! EXACTLY. He just turned into his character. there's no suit, there's no man, there's only the ... BATMAN!
Rebeccak: thanks Milady.
Popol. Sur tous les fronts hein?!! Merci;)
tprodhomme. thanks to you for the fresh eye on that one. Your opinion helped me a lot.
Glad you like it!!
OK. Anyone else or i should come back with some Laaaaaame elfish girl or a warrior stucked into a creepy armour. Maybe I should also give a try on some flesh/horror/cybercrap...
