Here's this weeks assignment. :):):)
Please let me know what do you think.
It's still in progress so without details, but I'm working with body now.
Just great to be able to count on you for comments!
03-02-2008, 12:50 AM
Hmm just a few comments, I would smooth out the transaction between each muscle because the creases are too deep, especially around his shoulder. The shoulder area needs a bit more work I think and the eyes need loads of work. The eyes are very important, right now they are super slanted. But overall, great start and I hope to see more updates.

03-03-2008, 10:52 AM
thx for your support guys abs are not finished yet
i will try to post some more updated version later in the week
03-03-2008, 07:04 PM
it looks great :)
- Upper arm muscle looks strange (it loks like lower part is to big in compere to upper part of it).
- Abdomen muscle looks very strange to me.
- Overlall waist is to thin in and elbows looks way to masive :), but maybe u wanted it like that.
good work man :)
03-04-2008, 08:18 PM
Small update -This wing is still WIP tomorrow i finish
thanks Loukor and spawn0 for suggestions
03-05-2008, 01:42 PM
You have nice concept sketches.
I've only one suggestion - his wings could be a little bigger, so he would look more powerfull i think.
Nice to see you here on the battlefield. Good luck!
03-06-2008, 09:41 AM
hey - nice concept... look forward to seeing more...
One crit - other than the anatomy crits so far... the head looks stretched in the Y - kinda too long... dunno if that's intentional - but not really workin for me... Anyways - i'll keep following the thread and see where u go with this.
All the best and keep up the work!
03-07-2008, 01:01 AM
hey evryone, i'm working with my wings now, and i 'm looking for the best arc line and anatomy, this is still in progres but the problem is that it's a big man so he needs big well done wings :)
03-07-2008, 12:21 PM
hey nice update wings looks nice but now show me some more definined body cant wait for next update
03-09-2008, 11:49 PM
Small update .now i think is time for detail
03-10-2008, 12:07 AM
hey looking pretty cool man, like the detail in the wings
03-10-2008, 01:33 AM
Hey man... kool to see you're progressing...
I think the skin on the top of the wing looks kinda wierd and out of place though... why would there be skin there like that? The wrinkles on the wings looks a bit too busy as well... think about making more "hero" wrinkles and some smaller supporting ones instead of covering the whole thing so evenly...Also think about adding some wear and tears on the wings. As to the guy - I'm still not quite diggin the face - still looks stretched to me.
Anyways - keep up the work man! Lookin forward to seein more.

great update proportions i see you've corrected proportions finally and they work great there are just 2 areas that i think are not working right now first are the wings i totally don't like their shape right now and for me they more decorative right now then functional i don't think that i this placement they could actually support him in the fly
second area is a arms i think that your brachialis muscel in arms is a to small and the ams looks kinda strange from front view
03-12-2008, 05:30 PM
great modeling work so far... proportions are fine for me.. the wings looks great, it looked a bit little in the concept, but now it seems that these can support him.
03-16-2008, 09:23 PM
Hey, guys this is my next update for this work, of course it's still in progress ,
For now I'm working with attachment and details of bottom character's part.

03-17-2008, 12:44 PM
The twisted demonic Mongol looks real sweet! Can't wait to see you texture this!
03-18-2008, 02:17 AM
It's really nice to see your progress with this work, Just awesome job!one of the most "well done" i saw around .
have a great weekimages/icons/icon7.gif
03-18-2008, 03:45 AM
Looking cool. You may want to make sure you don't have too much high frequency detail or it may end up looking like niose on the character. I really like the feel of the boots. The just look heavy.
03-18-2008, 05:29 PM
Wow great update it really starts to look very powerful and mighty
but the shader on the body looks a little bit stange or maybe the detail i a little bit to big any way great work so far can't wait to see the textures
03-18-2008, 07:18 PM
Looking good. Nice work with the cgs logo. Overall the character works really well, nothing specific to crit at all. Looking forward to see how the lowpoly works.
One tiny crit might be pretty much what jbrophy said, specially with the wings it might look nice to have some larger foldings and not just small uniform sized ones.
03-18-2008, 07:50 PM
If you make his chest smooth it will be a resting area for the eye. It will enhance your model tremendously. Great Job!
As someone said before the upper part looks a bit noisy. Prolly because of this scratched_metal material, but since it`s gonna be textured it shouldn`t be a problem, right? :)
I`m not the biggest fan of you character`s head style, but I know you and if you`ve decided that it should look just like this I won`t even try to convince you ;)
See ya ;)
03-22-2008, 01:15 AM

04-11-2008, 09:21 AM
i think that wings should be much bigger, becouse body looks very havy, and thosw wings couldnt cary him,
look how birds wings are big in compare to their body
04-25-2008, 10:47 AM
any progress there? :)
04-25-2008, 05:20 PM
