View Full Version : DWIII - 3D - [Chaosblade] - [Lord Voyde]

The character im going to make is a Warlord (Lord Voyde). The artifact i'm going to give him will be a warhammer or maybe a flail. He has magic armour forged by the mightiest clericons of his race which has living beings bound it. He uses his darkness/void weapon to bend light and space in order to teleport the souls of slain enimies to a void (this void is linked to the armour or may even be inside of it (the rules of time and space do not apply to this place). There the souls sit in perpetual darkness, unwillingly fueling the warlords armour. The armour acts as a magical exoskeleton which increases his strength and makes him incredibly tough and also heals him of any wounds he may suffer. The armour requires a constant supply of souls from the weapon/artifact in order to sustain its magical properties- The more souls it has the more powerful the armour becomes, and with no souls to fuel it the armour becomes mundane.
I will post some sketches soon with my ideas.

Here is my concept so far and also some weapon ideas.
The armour is bound with living beings and they are kinda oozing out of it in places.

Very nice. I like the human bodies hanging. One thing I would suggest though, is the face behind his head look kinda...boring. Maybe making it screaming in agony like a tormented face trying to get out of the skull. And the face coming out of the back of the head isn't as convincing as say....coming out from the side or off-center of the head. Just my 2 cents.
