View Full Version : A Life Aquatic

(http://assets.cgsociety.org/nvart/1202895019/1024bound)Imagine waking to the gentle sound of waves upon a rocky cliff. A calm breeze and a strong scent of the ocean fill the air. Now, imagine a creative space that makes its home in this environment. That is what I have tried to envision in this piece. I've sought to create a modern structure that takes many of its forms and inspiration from the beautiful life that fills the oceans. Hopefully, if we can find inspiration and tranquility in this place, we can also learn to protect and be good stewards of the amazing world in which we live.

Best image in yet in my opinion...the composition is not too good since i don't have a clue about it's scale and a little bit of athmosphere and a Y pass were superbe, but overal is ok.I like it...i hope i will finish my until deadline...good work!

look good. the shaders are nice, and i like those cliffs. but the building itself it's kinda basic. for eg. you have three semi rings and they are all scalled versions of eachother. even the texture tilles are smaller from one to another. technicly the tilling should be simmilar. my oppinion of course. overall it looks okay.

Thanks for the responses and the feedback. Geostik, I repeated the forms as a concisous descision, but I see what you mean about the varying scale of the tiles. I'm working on an alternate version so I'll see what I can do to make that happen.
Good luck and I hope you guys get yours completed. Thanks again.
