View Full Version : Using WACOM Bamboo scroll wheel to control functions other than zooming

Hi everyone!

I was wondering about this yesterday... I know it's not possible out of the box but do you think it's in any way possible to rig the scroll wheel of the bamboo tablet (or scroll strips on the Intuos3's) to dial a parameter up and down?

It sounds feasible enough since I'm guessing that all the hardware does is send a parameter (natively zoom) the instruction to go up or down.

I'd love this to work in Painter or a 3D app so you could scrub the frames/timeline by using the wheel, that would be indescribably awesome!
