I had this question about the difference between nsw and sw for some time now, but couldn't find an answer to it. The nsw and sw brushes for me seems to be the only brushes that come close to the Photoshop brushes in looks.
On my screenshot I show the differences. The sw strokes overlap with darker colors, while nsw strokes don't.
Also; with sw I can't paint over darker parts with light pressure to make it lighter again, while with nsw I can.
I compared both the brush setting in detail, but can't seem to find the settings that cause this differences.
I'm now stuck at which to use for painting. Which is better, new or old? what settings causes the differences? Whats so new (better) about it? etc. etc.
Thanks in advance
