View Full Version : Modeling a birds' paw

02-03-2008, 10:29 AM
What is the best way to model this kind of paw? It's covered by small feathers, and I cannot decide how to do it. Texture? Or with hairs? I'm modeling in Maya, Zbrush.
Thanks in advance.

You cant decide on fur or texture based on your question? or how to model the bird claw? Well..If modelling.. just start from a box..divide..extrude.. then detail.. for the fur or texture question is depend what you want it to be.. low poly will be texture..if you want to render 3D still..fur is better i guess..

Hope it help you
