View Full Version : 2D Depth of Field - Output Shader for MR?

Hello everyone,
I'm wondering if I can somewhere find a post-process DOF shader for MR4Maya since none is included.
I know that I can render a depth channel and so something similar in a compositing app. But that way I will run into antialiasing problems which means I would need a coverage pass and even more advanced passes (like z-background RGB) to achive a clean result... all this stuff seems to be a nightmare in MR in Maya.

wouldn't you run into the same issues as with a post process in compositing?
