Big Sandwich Games is a game development and 3D outsourcing studio based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded by a group of industry veterans, Big Sandwich Games is dedicated to providing the highest quality in-game art assets to our clients. Our team's dev experience spans such titles as Bully (Rockstar Games / Take Two Interactive), Homeworld: Cataclysm (Sierra), Treasure Planet (Disney Interactive), and World Series Baseball (Sega Sports / Visual Concepts), just to name a few.

BSG is currently working on two AAA next-gen titles, and one Nintendo DS project. We are looking to fill the following positions:

Character Modeler(s):
We are seeking character modelers that are experienced with using either Maya or 3DSMax and have a good understanding of both human and animal anatomy.

-A minimum of 2 years in game development
-A strong understanding of 3D applications such as 3DS Max, Maya, and Zbrush or Mudbox
-Excellent texturing skills with Photoshop
-An understanding of silhouettes, proportion, and clean modeling

Environment Modeler(s):
We are seeking environment artists that have a good understanding of what it takes to make great looking / performing environments.

-A minimum of 2 years in game development
-A strong knowledge of 3DSmax, Photoshop, and either Zbrush or Mudbox
-The ability to adhere to strict technical and workflow constraints
-Strong modeling skills in both architectural and organic modeling
-The ability to translate photo reference and concept art into high quality 3D assets

Hi there. I am a graduating animation student from Sheridan college's animation program. A lot of us students will be graduating in 3 months so we are all keeping an eyes out for job opp. However Sheridan is located in Oakville Ontario. Will you guys do any consideration about relocation or is the studio strick about hiring only residence in Vancouver?
