View Full Version : Fat guy... on a leash

01 January 2008, 05:28 PM

Hey there, I'm working on a quick character with as few texturespace as I could, only 2x256 for the head and body. It started as a quick texturing exercise but it expanded to almost a full character. The head model is the awesome fat dude SDK from killing.people, so all the credits go to him for that :) The leash is yet to be textured. A few things were photoreffed, most of it handpainted. Was mainly an exercise to get my texturing and modeling skills up again :scream: The model is 2117 tris, which is higher than it could be but as I'm just having fun, I'll leave that for later :)

Hope u like

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll be updating tomorrow since I'm going to bed now, everyone is free to further crit or make suggestions :) I'd love to get some more feedback to keep me motivated, lots of other projects also screaming for attention :scream:

Didn't have an aweful lot of time today (about 40 mins ), but I got the collar of the leash just about done (I gave it it's own 256 but I probably will size it down in the final texmap), tell me what you think. :) I know it's not quite the usual beautiful-female-in-latex style character but as I progress I'm starting to like the design more and more :scream:
