View Full Version : scaling rig probs with weta rig

im trying to scale a character to interact with another, and i'm not certain the proper steps for doing so. I've scaled the joints which brings the geometry with it, then scaled and moved the control shapes in corresponding fashion. The problem lies in the jason schliefer FK/IK rig, where the FK and orient bones dont scale with the body, and create some unwanted distortion. If i'm way off, some quick advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

I don't know how the hierarchy works for thier setups but I am pretty sure you could do something like what is on (about) page ten of my rigging tutorial. Just click on my sig. Let me know if it fits into your workflow.
