Here is a pic of my latest low poly character. i am looking to have a total polycount of 2500-3000 for my demo reel. Tell me what u think. i will have this model done next week, i am busy makin a level in gtx radiant also.

He's looking good so far. The piece at the bottom right of his jawline looks a little odd though. To me the shoulders look a little short & possibly small compared to the biceps. I realise its stylised but generally on a hulking great character like this, the shoulders would be massive to accomodate the weight of the arms.
I like the expression on his face - nicely different.

Well, I won't comment on the body as it seems there is still some work to be done there. The head however I like a lot. I was going to say when I first saw it, that it looks like it could do with some teeth - but from that concept I would guess you've simply not added them yet - so that is one worry gone ;)
I do agree with shogun about the jaw though - it bugged me right from the start, but it took until now for me to place what I didn't like.
It looks as though the back of the jaw (where it angles up to meet the socket) is sticking out a little to much. also it doesn't seem to come in enough before the tip of the jaw. I don't really know how to discribe this in words - but I will try.
Seen from the top a jaw sort of bulges ever so slightly at the back (which you have, but it seems to much) then comes in straight to a small flatish spot on the front - where the gap between the teeth is the whole thing becomes concave slightly. Your model's seems to either not have that concavity or it seems to be in the wrong place - I'm not sure which.
Anyway, other tha that the head seems excellent to me, and I look forward to seeing more work done on the body to match.

as u can see from the screen shot, i have fixed the screw up (1), or did i. i was tryin to follow everyone but...hopefully it is fixed. it did look a little weird. can someone give me an example of low poly ears, that is something that is bugging me. will have this character done this weekend. and start an even more exciting design by system404 again.

sorry i have been really busy and here is the update. i am still looking to finish this character by sunday, but now its looking more like monday. set up the strap for his head. put his belt and pants formation is now in place. next i will finish the legs and get that done either tonight or tomorrow morning. then i will spend saturday and sunday on the arms and gear. and that poly count is in tri's. so i will still make my orininal plan of 2500-3000. also his neck my look long but this charcetr will be slunched over when he is rigged. so it will look like the picture when he is done.

I have been really busy (playing virtua fighter 4, damn wut a slacker). here is the result so far. have to add a few minor details in the legs. next i will work on the feet then start the arms. the arms i will start tomorrow and monday will be entirely dedicated to armor. tell me wut u think. thanks everyone

here is a back shot, i forgot to post one. its goin good so far, i got the feet done well close to done. hopefully u can see the overall feel of the character take shape.

here is a new referance picture drawn by system 404. i will still be doing the rocks on the right arm. but that is how the left arm will be.

ok its been a crazy weekend. i was suppose to have this done already but things happen. here is an update on the rocks that everyone is waiting for. im gonna fix it still so don't worry. but that will be the basic shape. with textures it will look really nice. those feet look weird...hmmmm gotta fix that. any ideas on the feet everyone?
