View Full Version : muscle kit for maya means new binding?

I've been playing with the new muscle kit in maya 2008.1 and it got me thinking that even though i don't need the muscles could I still use this new tool set to replace the old smooth bind skin?

it's nice having the component editor and paint weights tool in one.

select the mesh with the skinCluster go to Muscle >> Skin System >> Convert Maya Skin to Muscle

and you can use the paint UI of the cMuscle plug-in

I tried it and it doesn't seem to work to well.

first I only see 4 joints in the list. I have lots more then that.

anyway I check out the help.

Are you using this method for skin deformations?
